1. Respect and Courtesy

  • Treat all users, artists, and support staff with respect and kindness
  • Use polite and professional language in all communications
  • Be understanding of cultural differences and diverse perspectives
  • Respect artists' time, skills, and creative expertise
  • Honor scheduled appointments and communicate any changes promptly

2. Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on our platform:

  • Harassment or Abuse: Any form of harassment, bullying, threats, or abusive behavior toward artists, customers, or staff
  • Discrimination: Discriminatory comments or actions based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Inappropriate Content: Sharing, requesting, or displaying offensive, explicit, or inappropriate images or messages
  • Fraud or Deception: Providing false information, impersonating others, or engaging in fraudulent activities
  • Spam or Solicitation: Sending unsolicited promotional messages or using the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
  • Privacy Violations: Sharing someone else's personal information without consent
  • System Abuse: Attempting to hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform's technical infrastructure

3. Booking and Service Guidelines

  • Provide accurate information when booking services (name, contact, address)
  • Ensure a safe and appropriate environment for artists during home visits
  • Be present and available at the scheduled appointment time
  • Respect the artist's professional boundaries and working space
  • Discuss design preferences clearly and respectfully before the service begins
  • Follow cancellation policies and provide adequate notice when rescheduling

4. Reviews and Ratings

  • Provide honest and constructive feedback about your experience
  • Base reviews on actual experiences with our services
  • Avoid using offensive language or personal attacks in reviews
  • Do not post fake, misleading, or incentivized reviews
  • Focus feedback on the service quality, not personal characteristics of artists

5. Content and Intellectual Property

  • Respect the intellectual property rights of artists and content creators
  • Do not copy, reproduce, or distribute artists' designs without permission
  • Any photos or videos you share may be used by SAKSHMI for promotional purposes (with your consent)
  • Report any copyright infringement through our Content Removal Request page

6. Safety and Well-being

  • Report any safety concerns or inappropriate behavior immediately
  • Inform artists of any skin sensitivities or allergies before henna application
  • Follow henna aftercare instructions for best results and safety
  • Do not use our platform for any illegal activities
  • Respect artists' right to decline service in unsafe or uncomfortable situations

7. Artist-Specific Guidelines

For professional artists on our platform:

  • Maintain professional conduct and punctuality for all appointments
  • Provide high-quality service consistent with your portfolio
  • Use safe, quality henna products for all applications
  • Respect customer preferences while offering professional guidance
  • Honor booking commitments and communicate availability honestly
  • Report any safety concerns or uncomfortable situations to support immediately

All reports are reviewed promptly and confidentially. We take violations seriously and will investigate each report thoroughly.

9. Consequences of Violations

Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:

  • Warning and guidance on proper conduct
  • Temporary suspension of account access
  • Permanent account termination
  • Removal of content or reviews
  • Cancellation of bookings without refund
  • Referral to law enforcement for serious violations

The severity of action taken depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. SAKSHMI reserves the right to determine appropriate consequences at its discretion.

10. Updates to Guidelines

SAKSHMI may update these Community Guidelines periodically to address new issues or improve clarity. Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
